The locally and nationally acclaimed, award winning Suerte restaurant in East Austin is seeking applicants for experienced hosts!

Chef Fermin Nunez and the kitchen team are creating a menu inspired by Mexican cooking techniques with local Texas ingredients and house made masa/tortillas. Our bar program is agave and succulent spirit focused, with an eclectic, well-curated wine and beer list. Suerte is located at 1800 E 6th St in the heart of East Austin and has been beloved by ourmunity since opening in March 2018. Our service is rooted in genuine hospitality for each other and our guests and we are looking for team oriented people with a positive attitude and a passion for food.

Our Server Assistants are the backbone of our Front of House team. They are trained in several areas in the restaurant that include food running, bar backing, and ensuring a smooth flow of the floor including resetting tables, stocking silverware, and polishing glassware. Our server assistants are also the main line ofmunication between hosts, servers, and management

We are seeking qualified applicants with:

Minimum of 1 year of restaurant experience is preferred, with a proven, stable work history in high quality and reputable establishments.

Understand how to help other team members if they need a helping hand.

Flexibility to work within a team based environment and be proactive to look for opportunities to help the restaurant and each other.

The ability to take orders and serve cocktails is a definite plus!

Comfortable interacting with guests in a friendly and professional manner

Comfortablemunicating with management and co-workers

Detail-oriented andanized

Excellent time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills

Available to work Saturday/Sunday AM and PM shifts
