Unconventional Diner, the first hospitality venture from the award- winning team behind LArdente, and Love, Makoto. We are hiring Sous Chefs with demonstrated food knowledge, excellent attention to detail, appreciation of a teamwork environment, and strong organizational skills

Job Details:

• Work with the Executive Chef to produce diversified menus in accordance with the restaurants policy and vision
• Train the auxiliary kitchen staff in order to provide best results in minimum time and using the maximum available resources
• Supervise, order and maintain standards in the kitchen during working hours
• Maintain purchasing, inventory, and food cost standards

Requirements:

• 2+ years minimum of experience as a sous chef
• 2+ years management experience required
• A passion for food and service
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Capability to teach and mentor others
• Ability to adapt and make decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment

Compensation: Salary ($70,000.00 - $80,000.00)
