Job Details Beautiful Rind, recently named one of the Best Cheese Shops in the United States by Food & Wine Magazine, is hiring an experienced line cook for our cheese-centric culinary program. More advanced roles may also be available for more experienced chefs. Part time or Full time roles are available
Beautiful Rind features a carefully curated retail cheese counter, a variety of retail items to pair with cheese, and a casual dining experience featuring custom cheese & charcuterie boards, house-made pairings, and cheese-centric dishes.

Line Cooks (Culinary Cheesemongers) prepare and create a variety of dishes and pairing items for our cheese and charcuterie boards. The duties for this role will be similar to a line cook or sous chef at other restaurants with their primary duty being to showcase cheese through a variety of culinary techniques and prepare dishes from our kitchen. Prior experience with cheese or pastry is not required but would be beneficial.

Pay for this role starts at $22+/hr with higher pay possible depending on experience. Applicants should be able to repeatedly lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods of time. All employees will receive paid sick leave, paid vacation, and a generous employer discount. Weekend and night availability are required, but schedules may have some flexibility to have certain days off. Full-time employees are eligible for health, vision, and dental insurance after 2 months of employment.
