Custodian Sweeper 1.5 hpd (2025-2026) - North Bullitt High School

This position is for the 2025-2026 school year.

North Bulitt High is seeking an energetic, team-oriented candidate to perform routine custodial activities: cleaning bathrooms, cleaning classrooms and offices, sweeping hallway floors, maintaining the cafeteria's cleanliness, and assisting with clean up following events/community activities.

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and provide a copy to HR upon recommendation to hire.

This position is for 1.5 hours per day and 178 days per year .

170 student instructional days, 7 planning days and 1 extended day

Contracted days will be adjusted depending upon start date .

Position is part time and not eligible for benefits.

Step 10: $16.40

New employees to the district may bring in up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience. (NOTE: It will be the responsibility of the applicant hired to submit the BCPS verification of experience form to their prior employer to complete and return to HR.)

Although Classified positions are paid on an hourly rate, salary is set up on a year-long contract and divided by the number of remaining paychecks. This position is considered a ten month employee on the pay schedule. 4 paychecks will be paid at the end of June.
