Maintenance Worker (Sanitation) (Seasonal)

This is a temporary position that performs simple and routine work involved in the maintenance, cleaning, and repair of buildings and related utilities, requiring experience in trade work such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical, cement work, painting, etc.
Open to the first 101 applicants or until 07/16/2025 whichever comes first. All applications submitted by 11:59 (EST) on the closing day will receive consideration.The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Job Qualifications System for Trades and Labor Occupations (X-118-C) will be used in determining applicants' qualifications. There is no specific length of training or experience required; however, you must be able to demonstrate through the experience shown in your written resume and your responses to the questionnaire that you possess the competencies to perform the duties of this position without more than normal supervision.
To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors:
Volunteer Experience : Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.There is no substitution of education for experience for Wage Grade (WG) positions.
