Responsibilities: Set up banquet rooms and event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, stages, and other furniture according to event layouts and instructions. Assist in placing linens, decorations, and audiovisual equipment as specified in event plans. Ensure all setups are completed on time and meet the hotel's quality standards. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of banquet areas during events, including removing trash and restocking supplies as needed. Break down and clean up event spaces after functions, storing furniture and equipment properly. Perform regular maintenance and upkeep of banquet equipment and storage areas. Respond promptly to requests from event staff or clients during events to ensure seamless service. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while handling equipment and setting up spaces. Qualifications: Previous experience in event setup or a similar role is preferred but not required. Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs). Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Capability to bend, kneel, and maneuver in tight spaces as needed for setups and breakdowns.
