At Kama, we believe th at fresh, scratch-made, bold flavors will be universally loved. We offer a unique menu that marries contemporary Indian cuisine with Indian-inspired Americana , crafted by a collaborative father-son duo, Vikram Singh and Hall of Fame chef Manmohan Singh. Our kitchen is a modern take on a traditional Indian joint family kitchen, where everything is made fresh, from scratch, to order, and customized to our guests' tastes. You won't find any cans, processed, or artificial ingredients here just pure, bold, and authentic flavors .
Our innovative menu features dishes like curried lamb tacos, Tandoori Chilean seabass, Kama Lobster Bisque, Goan Mussels, BBQ Ribs Namaste, and Charcoal Grilled Prime Ribeye . Our bar program, curated by Agnes, complements our cuisine with cocktails that incorporate Indian spices, chutneys, and teas , ensuring a unique and flavorful experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional service that is "Prompt, Precise, and Personable," ensuring a memorable dining experience for every guest.
- Read the guest and be sensitive to their mood upon being seated, adjusting your approach to ensure their comfort.
- Possess a deep understanding of Kama's unique menu, including our contemporary Indian and Indian-inspired Americana dishes, authentic ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Be knowledgeable about our bar program, including cocktails infused with Indian spices and teas.
- Efficiently manage your section , ensuring cleanliness and proper setup before, during, and after service.
- Collaborate effectively with support staff (helpers) to ensure seamless service.
- Handle OpenTable and Toast POS systems with proficiency .
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and bar staff regarding specials, 86'd items, and guest requests.
- Perform assigned sidework diligently and assist other stations as needed.
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to Kama's dress code.
- Check 7TASK assignments and be aware of daily specials and 86 lists (bar & kitchen).
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a server in a high-volume, full-service restaurant preferred.
- BASSET certification required .
- Proficiency with OpenTable and Toast POS systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
- A genuine passion for food, hospitality, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail .
Compensation: Hourly ($12.62) plus tips
