A Line Cook at The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill is responsible for preparing meals according to the restaurant's standards and recipes, ensuring food quality and presentation. They work on the line, assembling dishes, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The role involves using fresh ingredients, adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines, and potentially restocking supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation: Preparing menu items according to established recipes and procedures.
Quality Control: Ensuring food meets quality standards and presentation guidelines.
Food Safety and Sanitation: Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to food safety regulations.
Restocking: Keeping the cook line stocked with necessary ingredients and supplies.
Teamwork: Working collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Qualifications and Skills:

Culinary Experience: Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role is preferred but not needed.
Knowledge of Recipes: Understanding and ability to execute standard recipes.
Time Management: Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively during busy periods.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Food Safety Certification: Possess a ServeSafe or Food Handler's Certification is often required.
Positive Attitude: A willingness to learn and contribute to a positive work environment is valuable

Compensation: $17/22 per hour + tips DOE
