We are looking for a proactive and dependable Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team in Strongsville, OH. In this key role, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical condition of our facility, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment for all employees. You'll be performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and general facility infrastructure. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail and a strong ability to address both preventative and reactive maintenance needs.

Salary: $50k to $65k a year based on experience
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Repair and maintain doors, windows, floors, and other building components to ensure optimal functioning.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and address issues such as leaks, electrical outages, or equipment breakdowns.
- Ensure that the facility complies with all local health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Assist with facility upgrades, renovations, and improvements as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, including repairs and replacements.
- Monitor and replenish inventory of maintenance supplies and materials.
- Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services when necessary.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and equipment.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in facility or general maintenance (2 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building repairs.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose facility-related issues quickly and effectively.
- Good understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance for facility management.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or relevant training a plus.
- Ability to climb ladders, use power tools, and work in various physical environments (indoors and outdoors).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment screening
