A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RECEPTIONIST/ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
As a member of the administrative team, you are the first person visitors meet when they enter our doors. Your ability to make a good impression and ensure our guests feel welcome is key to your success. You help support the culture at Schemmer. Your main responsibilities will be to answer and forward incoming phone calls, coordinate conference room schedules, prep for company gatherings to include managing RSVPs, arranging catering as needed, and mail distribution. You'll back-up other support staff doing word-processing and spreadsheet applications containing technical terminology. As the go-to person for meetings and events in the office your ability to stay organized and multi-task makes you the perfect person for this position!
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience - 3+ years' experience preferred
- 2-5 years experience in an architecture and engineering firm preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Experience with planning and coordinating internal company events preferred.
