Position Summary:

As a member of the Front of House Team Member at Thalia Hall , you will play a key role in creating an exceptional experience for all guests. The Front of House team helps oversee day-to-day operations and perform day-of-show functions, working alongside the Operations Manager and House Manager to ensure all event needs are met. This role includes assisting with guest-facing logistics and providing top-tier customer service to maintain a friendly, safe environment at all events.

This is an entry-level position and a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event production and venue operations.

Additional Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

  • Engage and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Act as the first point of contact for guests, maintaining a high level of hospitality and customer service.
  • Manage crowd flow professionally, ensuring a welcoming and organized atmosphere.
  • Perform and assist with guest and event logistics, including ticket scanning, box office operation, and credential checking.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of guest-facing areas throughout the event.
  • Assist with event setup and teardown as needed.
  • Maintain composure and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

About You:

  • Must be at least 21+ years old.
  • 1+ years of experience in event operations or hospitality preferred.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including evenings and weekends. Open availability required for Lollapalooza week (end of July/early August) and New Years Eve.
  • Physically able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and move objects up to 50 lbs.
