The host must provide a friendly and professional first impression. They also assist in managing reservations, monitoring the flow of guests, and maintaining an organized dining area.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $17.75 - $17.75 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Host:

Welcome guests as they enter the restaurant

Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists

Manage reservations

Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas

Provide menus and announce Waiter/Waitress's name

Keep the front area and entrance clean and organized

Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options

Answer incoming calls and address customers' queries

Assist wait staff as needed

Job requirements:

Previous work experience as a Host/Hostess or Waiter/Waitress

Understanding of restaurant etiquette

Demonstrable customer-service skills

Communication skills

Organizational skills

Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment

Ability to walk and stand during an entire shift
