JOB SUMMARY Responsible for assisting and supporting the servers and bartenders in providing outstanding and timely food and beverage service to our guests. JOB DUTIES Work with servers and bartenders to create a positive dining experience for guests. Clean tables and remove dishes from tables. Assist our servers and bartenders with food orders from all of our venues. Carry loads of dirty dishes to the dishwasher to be cleaned. Ensure availability of clean dishes, flatware, glasses, straws, napkins, and other dining materials. Deliver food orders to servers and/or guests in a timely manner. Provide water service to tables as needed. Alert servers when tables need attention. Uphold our food health safety and sanitation principles. Be able to remain focused and on-task during busy hours. Watch for safety hazards and report them immediately to your Supervisor/Manager. Complete all required training within the timeframe allotted. Act in accordance with fire, health, and safety regulations and follow the correct procedures as required. Perform other duties as directed, developed, or assigned. Support environmental commitments by acquiring the knowledge, skills, and values to be a leader in the global goal of greening the hospitality industry. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Minimum 18 years of age. High school graduate or equivalent. Previous experience working as a bar back, bus person, and/or food runner in a similar setting required. Previous hotel/resort experience preferred. Able to demonstrate high energy and strong enthusiasm for customer service. Good attention to detail. Able to work with little or no supervision. Able to work on your feet for extended periods. Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
