- 1-3 years of high volume, face paced serving
- hospitality driven, providing an exceptional dining experience, and winning loyal returning customers
- fundamental food, beer, liquor, and wine knowledge, with ability and desire to learn more
- bartending experience, highly preferred but not required
- experience with Toast point of sale system
- experience with Resy reservation system
- available to work a variety of shifts, weekday, weekends, AM & PM, including Monday & Tuesday lunch
- Up-to-date BASSET and Food Handler's Certifications
Role & Responsibilities:
- Welcome, seat, and begin service for guests in a friendly and timely manner
- Serve multiple tables of guests simultaneously as determined by management
- Remain active, visible, and customer facing throughout service
- Thorough DMK food and beverage menu knowledge, responsible for describing, selling, and upselling items from our menus to our guests.
- Provide great guest experience through menu presentation, recommendations and suggestive selling.
- Check guests identification and serve alcoholic drinks adhering to state and local regulations.
- Accurately receive, confirm, and place orders. Accurately identify, present, and run orders from kitchen to guests
- On going table maintenance including refilling drinks without request, pre-busing tables, removing empty glasses & garbage, sweeping in and around your section, talk with guests to ensure they are fully satisfied
- Alert manager on duty of all issues, guests concerns or complaints, and work with manager on duty to remedy any issues and retain the satisfaction and trust of the guest
- Perform money transactions, return accurate change, and close checks in Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Able to self-direct opening, running, closing side work and complete all daily responsibilities independently
- Work in team environment and communicate professionally with management, team members, and guests.
- Help teammates with running food and drinks, pre-busing other's tables, helping guests with questions or requests, etc.
- Resident of or knowledge of Lakeview or surrounding neighborhood a plus!

The right candidates have hospitality experience, positive attitudes, kind demeanors, take pride in their work and have passion for people & food.
