Cook
The Cook assists in preparationof foods for residents and personnel; participates in supervision andinstruction of Food Service Aides on their shifts; maintains high standards ofsanitation and food handling in their work area.
MinimalEducation:
Highschool diploma or G.E.D. required.
MinimalExperience:
1. Six months food preparation experience in a hospital, institutional orrestaurant preferred.
2. Experiencein long term care or health care is preferred.
OtherQualifications:
1. Certification as a ServSafe Food Protection Manager preferred.
2. Ability to read and follow recipes, ability to write, add and subtract.
3. Must have good organization skills and be creative.
4. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions and acceptresponsibility for the accuracy and quality of work performed.
