Full Time Night Custodian / Bus Driver

Spruce Mountain Elementary School

(8 hours per night for 260 nights per year / 5 nights per week)

Description:

Duties include cleaning and maintaining the school during the day. Candidates will need to possess strong leadership skills, knowledge of cleaning, floor care and maintenance, shoveling and snow removal. Bus driving will be required.

Hours will be 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm for 175 nights and 6:00 am to 2:30 pm during summer breaks.

Qualifications:

• CDL B license with S endorsement - will train the right candidate, and candidate will have 6 months to obtain license if doesnt already have said license.
• Obtain a Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) through the Maine Department of Education (MDOE)
• Pre employment physical and drug test are required
• Knowledge of custodial duties and maintenance is a plus, but is not required

• State CHRC (fingerprinting) certification
• Any other certifications / education obtained that may be pertinent to position
• Three current letters of recommendation, including contact information
