United Talent is immediately hiring for a Janitorial position located in Charleston, WV.

Job Duties:

Perform general cleaning, disinfecting and cleaning restroom fixtures and drinking fountains, dusting and polishing furniture, windowsills and ledges, spot cleaning walls, vacuuming carpeted areas, dust mopping, sweeping, wet mopping and spray buffing tile floors, shampooing carpets, stripping and refinishing tile floors, emptying trash containers, and restocking restroom supplies thorough cleaning of various areas and surfaces

Use of various cleaning materials, solvents, or chemicals to thoroughly clean and/or disinfect various surfaces

Maintaining and organization of daily supplies

Communicating with direct supervisor regarding all issues

Perform all work in accordance with company's quality, environmental and regulatory procedures, and guidelines.

Other Duties:

Prompt reporting of any abnormalities to management.

Will perform other duties as assigned by management.

May be required to work overtime to perform emergency repairs and cleaning after-hours, on weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay & Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, pay ranges from $12.39

Requirements:

Ability to see and hear (correctable)

Ability to communicate written/verbally

Physically able to work in various positions when required (including but not limited to, on a ladder, bent over or in the squatting position, overhead, etc.).

Ability to lift 50lbs unassisted

Withstand long periods of sitting/standing and repetitive motion

Capable of routinely walking up/downstairs

Excellent communication skills required (capable of reporting issues to direct supervisor and/or communicating with various team members).

Flexibility to address issues as they arise and still complete day to day tasks.

Excellent ability to work unsupervised to complete tasks required.

Multi-task

Ability to refill various types of dispensers (paper towel, toilet tissue, hand soap, etc.).
