Janitor

Staffmark is hiring a Janitor in our warehouse facility in Abilene, TX! If you take pride in creating a clean and safe environment and enjoy working independently, this could be the perfect fit.

Pay: $17.00/hour

Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM | Monday-Friday

What You'll Do:

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub warehouse floors
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas
• Empty trash and recycling bins, replace liners
• Wipe down equipment, high-touch surfaces, and warehouse areas
• Restock cleaning and restroom supplies
• Operate cleaning equipment (training provided)
• Report safety hazards or needed repairs
• Help maintain order in storage areas and loading docks

Requirements:

• Reliable transportation required
• Prior janitorial/custodial experience preferred (warehouse a plus)
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet throughout the shift
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, industrial setting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Must follow safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
