Join our vibrant team at Encantada Cocina + Cantina, just a short stroll from the charming Historic District of Getown Square! We're seeking passionate and energetic line cooks. As a line cook, you'll collaborate closely with our kitchen manager and talented kitchen crew, all working together to create mouthwatering experiences for our guests. Depending on your station, you'll showcase your skills in grilling, broiling, roasting, or frying, ensuring every plate is a masterpiece. Your responsibilities will include expertly portioning food before cooking, carving and plating, and adding the perfect garnishes to elevate each dish. You'll also play a vital role in maintaining a clean and sanitary workstation, as we take pride in the safety and cleanliness of our kitchen

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Maintain proper food handling and safety procedures for all products in a station.

Preparation, production, and plating of menu items.

Thorough recipe and procedure knowledge for all items produced from the station.

Prepared and stocked all needed products and supplies for the station.

Breaking down, reducing, and cleaning the station at the end of the shift.

Maintaining and cleaning stations before, during, and after shifts.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS OR RESPONSIBILITIES

Assisting other line stations and/or prep kitchen with production as needed

Communication status of the station and the need to lead the cook.

Performs necessary cleaning projects, including thoroughly breaking down and cleaning equipment regularly.

Assist with stocking and cleaning in other stations as needed.

Service sequence and technical review.

Line check feedback and follow-up.

Performance appraisal results meet expectations.

Applicants must have night, weekend & holiday availability.

Current hours of operation:

Monday-Thursday 3-9 pm

Friday 3 pm-10 pm

Saturday 11 am-10 pm

Sunday 11 am-8 pm
