Custodial Technician

The City of Branson is looking for a dedicated Custodial Technician to ensure our municipal buildings and facilities are kept in top condition. This position involves performing thorough cleaning and disinfecting tasks to maintain a healthy and sanitary environment, managing trash removal and supply stocking, maintaining and cleaning various types of flooring, including vacuuming and dusting, and assisting with facility setups and light maintenance/repair tasks. You will play a crucial role in the upkeep of our community's essential facilities. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: The starting hourly wage is $20.06 per hour and will increase to $20.86 per hour after 6 months of successful probation. Or go to v REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND TRAINING A high school diploma or GED equivalent. At least one (1) year of experience in performing custodial, building, mechanical, grounds maintenance, or janitorial tasks. MISCELLANEOUS REQUIREMENTS Be at least 18 years of age. Complete two (2) custodial maintenance online training courses within 12 months of hire date. Complete customer service skills online training within 12 months of hire date. Possess or obtain an OSHA 10 certification within 12 months. Possess and maintain a valid Motor Vehicle Operator's license with the ability to be insured under the City of Branson's insurance coverage when driving a city-owned vehicle. Be willing to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary. Be able to pass a background investigation and drug and alcohol screenings. CLOSING DATE: Until Filled
