Custodian

The Custodian completes routine cleaning of Good Day Farm's facilities, equipment, and grounds. This position performs custodial maintenance duties, including dusting, mopping, finishing, and buffing floors, vacuuming and shampooing carpets, cleaning and restocking restrooms.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Cleans and performs services assigned areas in Facility buildings/rooms. Maintains enough stock and supplies to perform daily tasks. Sweeps, mops, and vacuums in assigned areas, as needed. Cleans rest rooms, offices and replenishes supplies. Picks up trash, empties garbage containers, sanitizes trash containers, and removes trash for disposal. Cleans and polishes brass, silver, glass, and drinking fountains. Operates polishing machine, carpet machine and vacuum cleaner. Cleans rooms, monitors for wear and tear, and reports any damage or repairs, as needed. Prepares table linens and sets up space for various events. Performs other duties as assigned. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
