We're looking for the newest member of our friendly, close-knit team. Our current need is for a skilled barista who can do latte art for seasonal help with coverage and the busy season. Morning/weekend availability is required and t is no guarantee of scheduled shifts, this is a "fill-in" position. This position will last until at least the end of August with the potential to extend into the fall if it's the right situation for everyone. MUST BE ABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY!

At this time, we are not able to hire anyone without the ability to dial shots and steam milk for latte art as we have limited capacity to train. Applications without this experience cannot be considered at this time, thank you for understanding!

As a barista, you will be responsible for the following:

- ensuring the quality of all coffee beverages and maintaining coffee equipment.

- maintaining goodmunication with management and all staff

- staying on task andpleting checklists.

- cross-train to be able to assist BOH staff as needed

- being awesome!

Our ideal candidate cares about making excellent coffee, is fast and efficient without sacrificing quality, understands how to read tickets and prioritize accordingly, and doesn't feel overwhelmed by a Saturday morning rush. Ticket times are everything right now. MUST MOVE QUICKLY! Excellentmunication skills, keeping your station clean andanized, staying on top of your ingredient inventory/backstock, and keeping a steady flow (knock out those tasks in between rushes!) are all essential. Even though we are an established business (est in 2010), we are always trying to get moreanized, increase our offerings, set up new systems, and just figure it out! We are looking for an individual who is adaptable, creative, easy going, energetic, friendly, positive, and enjoys problem solving. Qualifications:

** Minimum of 2 years barista experience and experience with latte art

Current Food Handler s Card

Ability to stand for 6-8 hours and lift up to 50 pounds

Ability to multitask & problem-solve while maintaining quality of work

Ability to maintain an uncluttered and tidy work space

Ability to work both independently & as a team player

Cash Handling Skills

Excellentmunication skills

Punctual and reliable (reliable transportation is a MUST!)

Must have a relatively open availability and be able to work weekends

Compensation: Starting wage is based on experience. Wages are between $16.50 and $16.75 per hour along with pooled tips (which average $5-$6 per hour).
