**Job Description**

We are seeking a dedicated custodian to join our team working onsite at a manufacturing plant in Glendale, KY. This position offers night shift opportunities and requires individuals who are committed to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction while ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of the facility.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform cleaning and janitorial duties throughout the plant.

+ Ensure floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting.

+ Maintain surfaces by dusting, sanitizing, and cleaning glass, mirrors, and windows.

+ Polish metal and wood surfaces and clean blinds and draperies.

+ Handle waste removal by emptying trash and recycle bins and transporting waste to proper disposal areas.

+ Conduct light maintenance such as replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets.

**Essential Skills**

+ Proven janitorial experience.

+ Strong customer service skills.

+ Ability to work successfully with other team members.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Knowledge of floor care techniques.

+ Understanding of surface care methods.

+ Experience in waste removal and light maintenance tasks.

**Work Environment**

This position is based on a massive manufacturing site, requiring custodians to be on their feet and walking throughout the entire shift. The job operates on a night shift schedule from Sunday to Wednesday and Thursday to Sunday, with varying start and end times. Required attire includes steel toe shoes, black work pants, and a plain t-shirt or shirt with minimal writing.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glendale, Kentucky.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
