Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Concierge plays a key role in ensuring the safety, privacy, and comfort of the building and its residents. Key Responsibilities : Greet and assist residents and visitors with professionalism and courtesy Verify the identity of all visitors and residents entering the premises Monitor building premises and provide basic security services Respond promptly to emergencies and conduct routine patrols Communicate with residents to address any concerns or questions Take on porter duties one day per week as needed Job Requirements : Must maintain a courteous and professional demeanor at all times Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively with others Prior experience in a residential or hospitality setting is a plus Willingness to perform porter responsibilities once a week Position requires availability for the overnight shift, from 12 : 00AM to 7 : 00AM Compensation : Pay rate will be determined in accordance with the 32BJ union contract.
