Job Description:

As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for greeting them with a warm and friendly demeanor. You will manage reservations, seat guests, and oversee the flow of the dining room, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for all.

Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant.
• Assist with taking reservations and managing the reservation book.
• Escort guests to their tables, ensuring they are comfortable and informed about any specials or promotions.
• Manage the waitlist during busy periods and provide accurate wait time estimates.
• Collaborate with the server team to coordinate seating arrangements and maintain a smooth flow of service.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and special accommodations.
• Maintain a clean and organized host/hostess station.
• Thank guests as they depart and invite them to return.
• Assist with general restaurant tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Friendly and outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and a desire to create positive guest experiences.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace and composure.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Knowledge of restaurant reservation systems is a plus.
• Prior experience in a host/hostess role or similar customer-facing position is preferred but not required.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
