Description
The Springhill Suites Wichita East s currently seeking individuals for the position of Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our StepStone Hospitality-managed hotel. As our Maintenance Engineer, you will maintain the hotel's assets through ongoing preventative maintenance programs and ensures that all mechanical systems are operating in accordance with the hotel's and StepStone Hospitality's standards. You will promote quality service to achieve maximum guest satisfaction. Scheduled hours will vary weekly between Monday-Sunday. Weekdays, weekends, and holidays are required.
The responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer include but are not limited to:
Assist with maintaining the hotel, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities.
Replace air conditioner filters.
Maintain, air conditioners, cooling towers and boilers to provide heat, cool air, and hot water for guests.
Maintain standards of quality guest service.
Tend to pool area including chemical balancing, cleaning, etc.
Increase guest satisfaction by delivering an exceptional product through employee development.
Respond and resolve guest requests,plaints, or questions courteously and promptly.
Remove debris, and clean driveways and garage areas.
. Shampoo carpets using shampoo machine.
Put away all iing supplies and deliveries
Requirements
Minimum l fting of 70 pounds.
Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
Hearing, writing, typing.
Minimum pulling of 70 pounds.
Other duties may be assigned.
