Summary
We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our dynamic team at Eisenhauer's Catering and Events. In this role, you will play a vital part in our kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation while supporting our mission to deliver exceptional catering experiences.
Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and staff.
Oversee food preparation and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menu items.
Manage inventory control and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food production.
Ensure timely delivery of all food items for events and functions.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a catering or restaurant environment.
Strong knowledge of food management, production, and service practices.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
Familiarity with inventory control systems and procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
