The Frying Dutchman food truck is looking for a cashier who has a passion for service. Must be able to maintain a positive attitude and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Punctuality, reliability and attention to detail are essential. Integrity, honesty and ability to communicate effectively throughout the shift are key.
DUTIES: Greet guests with a friendly customer-first attitude. Knowledge of all menu items, prices, and their preparation. Setting up the station, taking orders, cashiering, prepare beverages, and deliver food to guests at their car or table. Re-stocking supplies, cleaning work area, and doing dishes by hand.
SCHEDULE: Tuesday Friday 10:40 am to 2:45 pm with occasional weekend or evening work. (Milton, Edgewood, Sumner, and Puyallup are current locations.)
PAY: Typically around $35/hour ($20/hour base plus tips, usually about $15/hour). We guarantee a minimum of $30/hour if tips dont make up the balance.
REQUIREMENTS: Experience in food service, coffee stand, or other customer service in a restaurant. Candidates must be 18 or older, able to lift 30 pounds, stand for entirety of shift, bend over while working to retrieve items. Ambulatory work on uneven ground and use of stairs (steps) is essential. Reliable transportation to and from each work site, acquire Washington State food workers card.
