Position Summary
We are currently seeking a dependable and caring individual to serve in a dual role as both Education Aide and Custodian. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping students succeed and takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming school environment.
Job Responsibilities
As an Aide:
Assist classroom teachers in supporting student learning.
Work with individual students or small groups under teacher direction.
Supervise students during lunch, recess, and transitions.
Help implement instructional activities and reinforce learning.
Assist with classroom organization, preparation of materials, and other duties as needed.
As a Custodian:
Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of school buildings and facilities.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
Ensure the campus is safe and well-kept at all times.
Set up and clean up for school events or activities.
Report maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience working with children and/or in custodial work preferred.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Must be reliable, responsible, and team-oriented.
Must be able to pass a background check and meet district hiring requirements.
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive hourly wage, based on experience.
