Milton-Freewater Oregon is a multi-cultural community located in the northeast corner of the state within ten miles of Walla Walla Washington. The Milton-Freewater Unified School District is now taking applications for the following position:

Cook - McLoughlin High School - 4 hours

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge and experience in food preparation, food service, and safe food handling.
• Knowledge and experience in appropriate methods of safe kitchen operations.
• Ability to work in a cooperative, positive manner with students, staff, parents, and community.
• GED or high school diploma required.
• Ability to obtain an Oregon State Food Handlers Card.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Including, but not limited to, constant moving about, including bending, stooping, reaching and kneeling. Employee must be able to lift up to 30 pounds frequently.

COMPENSATION:

This is a 4-hour position, Monday thru Thursday - 7:30 am to 1:00 pm. Salary range is $15.30 - $20.19 (depending on level of experience). The Milton Freewater School district offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefit package that includes:
