Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Event & Banquet Oversight:
  • Serve as the primary contact for all hotel events, including meetings, social gatherings, and catered functions.

  • Create and manage Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), ensuring clear communication between Sales, Kitchen, and Front Desk teams.

  • Supervise event set-up, execution, and breakdown to guarantee brand consistency and guest satisfaction.

  • Conduct client walk-throughs, tastings, and post-event reviews to drive repeat business.

Food & Beverage Leadership:
  • Oversee daily operations of the F&B department including breakfast, bar/lounge service, and banquet catering.

  • Maintain inventory, order supplies, manage vendors, and control food and beverage costs.

  • Ensure all food and beverage offerings meet Hilton Garden Inn standards and health/safety regulations.

  • Support implementation of seasonal menus, bar promotions, and special hotel events.

Team Management & Culture:
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing F&B and banquet team.

  • Prepare team schedules based on business levels and approved labor budgets.

  • Foster a positive, guest-focused environment through hands-on leadership and Concord’s values.

  • Conduct team huddles, evaluations, and coaching for continued development and accountability.

Financial Responsibilities:
  • Monitor department budgets and support forecasting for labor, food cost, beverage cost, and banquet profitability.

  • Assist with billing accuracy, event deposits, and reconciliation with Sales/Accounting.

  • Track performance metrics such as guest satisfaction scores (GSS), upsell revenue, and event feedback.

Qualifications (Preferred):
  • 2+ years of experience in food & beverage or banquet/event management, preferably in a hotel setting.

  • Prior knowledge of Hilton brand standards and banquet operations.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills in a hospitality environment.

  • Familiarity with hotel systems (OnQ, Delphi, Micros) and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Flexibility to work varied schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
