Seeking Experienced Apartment Property Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a full time maintenance technician for our Carmichael apartment community.

Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years apartment property maintenance experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Available to work a full-time and share an after hours pager
MUST have reliable transportation and current drivers license and insurance
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and climb ladders
Must be able to take instructions from the Property Manager

Duties include, but are limited to:
o Complete apartment work orders accurately and in a timely fashion (ideally 5-10 business days)
o Manage vacant apartments by preparing them through the turnover process so apartments are ready to lease for new residents to move in
o Keep the grounds free of debris and trash, and upkeep on the Pool.
o Provide excellent customer service to residents
o Resolve electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs, installations, service, and replacements in a responsible and professional manner that meets industry standards as needed by the apartment community. Including:
o Painting and drywall repair, including texturing
o Plumbing repairs, including replacement of shower cartridges, shut off valves and supply lines
o Electrical knowledge of circuits, receptacles, breakers, switches, and fuses
o Light fixture replacement and installation
o Installation and minor repairs of appliances such as stoves, refrigerators and dishwashers
o Replacement and installation of toilets, sinks, vanities, and disposals
o Minor carpentry repairs
o Window screens and blinds repair and replacement
