Long term sub custodian days

Custodial Long term sub positions available: Tahanto regional Mon-Fri 6am - 2:30pmJob Goal: To provide students, staff, and the entire community with a safe, attractive,comfortable, clean, and efficient school. Performance Responsibilities:1. Keep buildings and grounds, including sidewalks and play areas, neat and cleanat all times.2. Assist in shoveling or treating sidewalks and entrance areas.3. Clean all classrooms including dusting of furniture.4. Maintain all floor areas, including stripping and waxing tile and/or linoleumfloors, and steam clean and vacuum rug areas.5. Check all doors to ensure they are appropriately secured.6. Secure the building when departing and ensure all alarm systems are activated.7. Scrub and disinfect all toilets.8. Clean all bathroom floors daily.9. Clean all sanitary fixtures and drinking fountains daily.10. Wash windows.11. Empty all rubbish and keep grounds around the building free of rubbish.12. Clean all marker boards unless specifically directed to by a staff member orthe principal.13. Make such building repairs as directed or known to him/her.14. Report immediately vandalism and damage to Facilities manager.15. Report need for major repairs to Facilities manager.16. Remain on school premises during work hours and during non-school hourswhen the use of the building has been authorized.17. Comply with all local, state and federal laws and procedures for the storageand disposal of trash, chemicals, rubbish and waste.18. Check boilers at the end of shift.19.Seasonal mowing and use of outdoor equipment, Mowers, zero turns, weed whackers, trimmers, etc.20. Must be able to operate snow blower and use shovels to clear out snow from walkways and entrance ways21. Perform such other tasks and duties as the Principal or the Facilities Managermay from time to time assign.22. The position is considered as essentialpersonnel. Must report when asked by the Facilities manager to assist in snow removaland during emergency situations overnight or early morning. This position is for 1st shift 6am - 2:30pm
