VPI System Operator**

**Job Description**

Prepare rotors, stators, and other components for processing through proper resins. Operate VPI systems to control resin levels and vacuum cycles. Monitor oven times and temperatures for proper cure. Clean excess epoxy from components to ensure proper primer or paint adhesion. Following Plant Manufacturing Procedures and Operational Method Sheets for proper operation of VPI and oven equipment is crucial.

**Responsibilities**

+ Prepare rotors, stators, and other components with appropriate resins.

+ Operate VPI systems to manage resin levels and vacuum cycles.

+ Monitor oven times and temperatures to ensure proper curing.

+ Clean excess epoxy from components for proper primer or paint adhesion.

+ Follow Plant Manufacturing Procedures and Operational Method Sheets for VPI and oven equipment operation.

+ Perform daily and weekly TPM tasks accurately and consistently.

**Essential Skills**

+ 6,000 hours experience required to become proficient with process, equipment, and materials.

+ 6 months of prior painting experience.

+ Vocational or high school education or equivalent.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ On-the-job training to learn trade techniques and procedures.
