Job Summary:
- As a Host, you would be responsible for greeting guests, accepting reservations, organizing wait-lists and seating charts to maintain smooth dining room flow.
The Details:Position Type: SeasonalSeason Dates: Late October 2025 - Early March 2026Pay: $15.75/hrSchedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests, accept reservations, organize wait-lists and seating charts to maintain smooth dining room flow. Develop and maintain positive communication with Servers, Server Assistants, and the Manager on duty in the dining room.
Qualifications
- Ability to organize and prioritize under pressure while maintaining a calm and pleasant demeanor.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Ability to absorb large amounts of information quickly: Service procedures, beverage and food menus as appropriate, operation of point of sales system.
- Knowledge of menu, specials and features.
- Knowledge of basic sanitation.
- Certification in the TIPS alcohol awareness program is required. Workshops will be provided if not currently certified.
Physical Requirements include:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, approximately 8 hours.
- Must be able to walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Must be able to bend, stretch, and reach for extended periods of time.
