At Utah Valley University, the Computer Lab Custodian maintains a clean, safe, and secure environment that supports student learning and technology use. This position ensures that computer labs are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, creating a welcoming and hygienic space for all users. In addition to custodial duties, the role also contributes to campus safety by serving as an on-site presence during emergencies, ready to contact police, fire, or medical responders when needed.

- Sanitizes and deep cleans computer labs, including vacuuming, cleaning computers, keyboards, and other work areas. This includes wiping down white boards, emptying trash, and performing any other custodian work, as needed.
- Assists with special IT projects, as needed.
- Available to call police, fire or ambulance, as needed. Monitors computer labs for inappropriate behavior and/or inappropriate web usage.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
High school diploma from a standard high school or the equivalent and any combination of post high school education and/or directly related full-time experience to the Summary of Duties totaling six months is required.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted and maintain good physical health.
