  • Record reservations received verbally or in writing and enter them into the hotel computer system.
  • Quote rates and room availability according to established procedures.
  • Process and cancel reservations following appropriate procedures.
  • Answer telephones promptly and route calls or provide assistance to callers.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and efficient check-in, check-out, and reservation services.
  • Inform guests of required information and answer questions about the resort and local area.
  • Communicate and coordinate with coworkers, supervisors, and managers in all departments.
  • Process accurate cash and credit card transactions.
  • Promote the hotel/casino and its services and facilities.
  • Work closely with Housekeeping, Group Sales, and VIP Services to meet guest needs.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1 month of guest service experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Basic written, communication, and computer skills.
  • Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
  • Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
