The Off-Site Cashier & Driver is responsible for transporting and selling product, collecting and processing guests payment for food and beverage items for guests, and ensuring all aspects of professional service and guest satisfaction.
Essential Functions
- Accurately deliver and sell food and beverageitems at a variety of offsite locationsincluding but not limited to schools; load and unload items and supplies; driveCompany vehicle in a safe, professional, efficient and timely manner; collectand process guest payment; and balance all sales/receipts in compliance withrestaurant policies and procedures
- Understand and respond knowledgeably toquestions about the restaurant and menu
- Maintain and provideproof of current drivers license, MVR compliance and safe drivinghistory
- Maintain adequate fuel levels, safe operation,security, cleanliness and preventative maintenance of company vehicle, andreturn keys at the end of each shift
- Maintain confidentiality of all company recordsand information
- Record and report allaccidents and parking and moving violations of all kinds
- Follow all steps of service
- Use sales techniques to present and encouragecurrent promotions to guests
- Understand and follow the food allergy procedureand special orders/restrictions
- Proficiency in the use and operation of allnecessary tools and equipment, including the POS system, Frequent Diner, GiftCard and Credit Card terminals, as well as radio system
- Available to work a variety of hours, days andshifts, including weekends
- Safely and effectively use and operate allnecessary tools and equipment
- Ability to effectively communicate in order toperform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction
- Ability to multitask calmly and effectively ina busy, stressful environment
- Work in a confined, crowded space of variablenoise and temperature levels
- Able to move and lift up to 10 pounds,frequently move and/or lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally move and/or liftup to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for an entire shiftand move safely through all areas of the restaurant, which may include stairs,uneven or slick surfaces
- Ensurethe overall guest experience exceeds expectations and anticipate guests needs
- Greetguests with a warm, sincere smile
- Usetact and good judgement when dealing with guest challenges and respond to guestneeds with patience and courtesy
- Complywith all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures
