**Job Description**

We are seeking a dedicated janitor to maintain cleanliness and order within our facility. The role involves pulling trash, cleaning restrooms, vacuuming, wiping down and dusting surfaces, stripping and waxing floors, and dusting. You will be required to lift up to 20 pounds and perform repetitive tasks. The position demands physical activities such as climbing, stooping, kneeling, squatting, and reaching.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform daily cleaning throughout the facility, including kitchen and break rooms.

+ Vacuum office areas and ensure cleanliness.

+ Stock and clean restrooms.

+ Sweep and scrub warehouse floors.

+ Strip and wax floors as required.

**Essential Skills**

+ Experience in janitorial duties or housekeeping.

+ Ability to follow directions and work with minimal supervision.

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ 0-2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

**Work Environment**

The position is primarily office work, conducted almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night. You may occasionally be exposed to airborne dust. The work surface is stable and flat, with environmentally controlled conditions. Job tasks are performed in close proximity to other people. The shift is Monday to Friday from 7 am to 4 pm.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of HANOVER, Maryland.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
