Job Details ABOUT USLocated on a landmark corner of the West Village, a block away from the Hudson Promenade, Wallse opened its doors in July 2000. From the name, to the food, to the decor, every detail of Kurt Gutenbrunners first NYC restaurant reflects and embodies his culinary history and vision. Wallses harmony of elegance, simplicity and lightness won the restaurant two stars from the NYTimes only two months after opening and a coveted Michelin star in 2006.
The food and beverage program of Wallse reflects Kurts passion for aesthetics, taste, quality, seasonality, as well as his knowledge of contemporary and classic culinary techniques.
