Part-Time Housekeeper | Boston, MA Schedule: Ideally 3-4 days a week, flexible on exact timing Start Date: ASAP Compensation: $45-$50/hour | Guaranteed weekly hours Location: Boston, MA A working professional in Boston, MA, is seeking a hardworking and proactive part-time Housekeeper to care for a well-maintained 1,400 sq ft apartment. This is an excellent opportunity for a career housekeeper looking for a consistent, part-time role within a respectful and flexible household. The ideal candidate will have experience working in private residences or luxury hospitality environments, be polished in both appearance and communication, and feel comfortable working independently. An understanding of the dynamics of supporting a principal who works from home is essential - this includes maintaining clear boundaries and fostering a tranquil environment where the principal is in residence. Key Responsibilities: Perform daily housekeeping duties and general home organization Execute routine and seasonal deep cleaning projects Laundry, ironing, hand washing delicates, and coordinating dry cleaning Care for fine furnishings, surfaces, art, silver, china, and crystal using appropriate methods Support with organizing closets, cabinets, and storage areas Monitor the home for necessary repairs and report accordingly Stock household and cleaning supplies, and manage inventory of personal care items Assist with packing, unpacking, and travel prep as needed Receive and log packages, manage returns and exchanges Assist with vehicle maintenance scheduling as needed Open to the potential for light pet care of a dog in the future Qualifications: 5+years of housekeeping experience in private households or luxury hospitality Local to the Boston area and legally eligible to work in the U.S. Strong communicator who is fluent in English High level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to take initiative Physically capable of performing housekeeping tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods Comfortable working with another team member and vendors Openness to work occasional additional hours is preferred, but not required Up to date on COVID-19 vaccinations Non-smokers only Must have excellent references Willingness to undergo an in-depth background check Compensation $45-$50+ per hour | Depending on experience DM Estate Staffing is a domestic staffing firm based in Silicon Valley, California.
