Private Family in North Caldwell, NJ Seeking a Live-In Housekeeper- frequent travel to Florida. Position: Full-Time Live-In Housekeeper Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 40 hours/week. The schedule can be broken up and many breaks during the day and a lot of downtime. Salary: $30-$35/hour depending on experience Benefits: 2 weeks PTO Start Date: ASAP Relocation: Yes - open to nationwide search About the Family: We are a quiet and respectful two-person household seeking a full-time live-in housekeeper to help maintain our home. The ideal candidate is pleasant, kind, honest, and takes initiative without needing daily direction. Responsibilities include daily cleaning, cooking, laundry and ironing for two people, and changing bed linens about once a week. We're looking for someone who is hardworking, detail-oriented, and able to manage tasks independently. The typical day starts around 9:00 AM, with flexibility throughout the day and the ability to take breaks as needed. We ask for help cleaning up after dinner most evenings and cooking dinner a couple to a few times a week. Flexibility is important, as some days may require different tasks depending on what's needed. This is a live-in position, and a private room will be provided. We value trust, reliability, and a strong work ethic, and hope to find someone who takes pride in their work and will treat our home with care. You would have living arrangements there as well. They used to go down for 6 months, but with expecting a new grandkid they think they won't be down there as often. Housekeeper would travel with them and have a private room.
