Chef Dominique Crenn, the trailblazing force behind Atelier Crenn and a global icon in culinary innovation, is bringing her boundary-pushing culinary artistry to Los Angeles. Poised to be one of the most anticipated openings of 2025, this new concept will redefine fine dining in LA through innovation, elegance, and hospitality at the highest level. We are building an extraordinary team to launch this landmark projectand are seeking focused, detail-oriented Line Cooks to help bring it to life.
As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role within the brigade, supporting your station Chef de Partie and contributing to the execution of each dish with precision and care. This is a formative opportunity to refine your craft in a kitchen committed to excellence, creativity, and mastery.
Position Summary:
The Line Cook works under the guidance of the Chef de Partie to support all aspects of station prep and service. You will be responsible for maintaining impeccable mise en place, assisting with dish execution, and upholding the discipline and standards of a world-class fine dining kitchen. This role is ideal for a driven young cook eager to grow and contribute within a structured, elite culinary environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Chef de Partie in preparing, organizing, and executing all components of your assigned station
- Execute prep, mise en place, and basic cooking tasks with precision, consistency, and cleanliness
- Ensure all ingredients are properly labeled, stored, and rotated according to kitchen standards
- Assist with plating and service during busy periods, maintaining accuracy and speed
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation that reflects the restaurants hygiene and safety expectations
- Participate in daily briefings, tastings, and kitchen-wide prep and breakdown
- Show commitment to learning, attentiveness to instruction, and respect for the brigade system
- Uphold and model our core values of respect, hospitality, creativity, and excellence
- Be a brand ambassador, embodying elegance, finesse and innovation
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 year of experience in a professional kitchen, ideally in a fine dining or Michelin-level setting
- Strong knife skills and understanding of foundational cooking techniques
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute as part of a high-performance culinary team
- Excellent time management, cleanliness, and organizational habits
- Positive, team-oriented attitude and ability to take direction with grace
- Available nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
