Job Details We are looking for a new Maitre D' for our brand new property, the newly opened and very well received Nightly's, an ambient American Bar & Bistro located on the stunning corner of 2nd Avenue & 78th street.Nightly's is already a buzzing hot spot with great energy and has drawn a strong crowd and full reservations from day one. Nightly's fuses the best of high/low chic, offering a gorgeous space with excellent food and service, served in a warmth and a welcoming manner!
We are looking for an additional Maitre D' to join our team, offering part time and/or full time work. MUST have high volume New York City experience, and a great attitude! We are a trusted local neighborhood establishment and do not do elitist snobbery or rudeness - EVER! We are seeking team members that know the power of the role and enjoy the elegance of true hospitality, greeting guests with warmth and welcome, and making them feel appreciated even when we are incredibly busy.
Must be cool under pressure, quick thinking, pro-active and present. We are looking for a confident, friendly personality that enjoys working in a high energy, lively place and having dynamic interactions with a diverse mix of clientele! We use Resy for reservations, so while not necessary, experience with this will be to your advantage.
We have curated an excellent staff that is proud of their work in hospitality and look forward to adding to our team.
Service currently runs form 4pm-12pm, and Maitre D's are typically cut prior. We will be extending service later down the line, and adding brunch.
