The Food Runner is a vital link between the kitchen and the guest. This high-energy role ensures dishes are delivered swiftly, accurately, and gracefullyelevating the guest experience through seamless coordination and attention to detail. Runners embody the speed of the kitchen and the polish of the dining room, ensuring every plate reflects our standard of excellence.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver food orders from the kitchen to guests quickly, accurately, and with presentation awareness
Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and guest satisfaction
Memorize table numbers and guest seat positions to ensure smooth service flow
Respond to guest requests and coordinate with the appropriate team member
Assist with table maintenance: clear empty plates, refill water, reset tables as needed
Ensure expo line is clean, stocked, and organized at all times
Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and adhere to all sanitation and safety protocols
- Train and work in the role of a Barista
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
High attention to detail and sense of urgency
Professional, clean appearance and demeanor
Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift trays or plates up to 25 lbs
Punctual, dependable, and coachable
Prior food runner, server assistant, or expo experience (1+ years preferred)
Familiarity with POS systems and kitchen ticket flow is a plus
Knowledge of basic food allergens and kitchen terminology

Compensation DetailsCompensation: Hourly ($14.00 - $15.00) plus tips
