Job Description:

Avli in Winnetka is currently seeking candidates to join our BOH team. Our restaurant features classical Greek cuisine with a contemporary twist on the classics. We are looking for a strong line cook with a diverse background and great attitude willing to learn and have fun on the way.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment
• Preferable to be bilingual in Spanish
• Full time, 36-40 hours per week
• Developed knife skills
• Teamwork
• Hot line experience, including grill, sautee, and fry
• Cleaning and Sanitation
• May perform other duties as assigned
• Food Handler Certification required

Compensation: Hourly $19-$23/hour based on experience

• Conocimiento del equipo de cocina
• Se prefiere que sea bilingue en espanol
• Tiempo completo, 36-40 horas por semana
• Habilidad desarrollada con cuchillos
• Trabajo en equipo
• Experiencia en la linea caliente, incluyendo parrilla, salteado y freidora
• Limpieza y saneamiento
• Puede realizar otras tareas segun se asignen
• Se requiere Certificacion de Manipulacion de Alimentos

Compensacion: $19-$23 por hora, segun la experiencia
