Job Summary

The Janitor will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities. This full-time position requires a dedicated individual who can perform a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal in all areas.

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchen and common areas, ensuring high standards of hygiene.

• Spot cleaning around the facility.

• Dusting in work areas, including cubicles and blinds.

• Restock supplies in restrooms and breakrooms as needed.

• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, and vacuum cleaners.

• Occasional cleaning of dust on walls and fans in the facility.

• Ensure all cleaning chemicals and supplies are stored safely and correctly.

• Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations.

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of meeting rooms and events as required.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Working at heights certification preferred.

• Proven experience as a janitor or in a similar cleaning role.

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, and their proper usage.

• Ability to operate various cleaning equipment.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions

• Full-time position, typically Monday to Friday.

• May require occasional weekend or evening work depending on facility needs.

• Required to work in multiple locations.

• Work primarily indoors, with occasional outdoor tasks.

• May be exposed to cleaning chemicals and various environmental conditions.
