Comments and Other Information
Proctors: Under the supervision of the Site and District administrators, provide student supervision throughout the school day in the Elementary and Middle schools of the District; participates in site security and safety, parking and traffic control, and perform other related duties as required. Paraeducators: Under general supervision, perform a variety of Special Education instructional activities; assist children experiencing special learning needs; administer, score and record a variety of assessments; carry out routine clerical and supportive tasks; and perform other related duties as assigned. Childcare Assistant: Under supervision, perform a variety of instructional activities; assist in creating, organizing, and directing a childcare program and environment favorable to learning and personal growth for students of multiple age groups; and perform other related duties as assigned. This employee will be an itinerant and may be assigned to various sites as needed. Food Service Worker: Under the direction of the Director of Child Nutrition and Purchasing, maintain food service facilities and equipment in a neat, clean, safe and sanitary condition; assist in the preparation of food; set up, serve and sell food; and perform other related duties as assigned. Clerical: Under general supervision, to perform a variety of clerical and general office work, including the use of a computer; to serve as office receptionist responding to routine inquiries and directing persons to appropriate offices; and perform other related duties as assigned. Custodians/Maintenance: Under direction of site administrator/Director of Maintenance and Operations, maintain an assigned school or facility in a clean, orderly, safe and secure manner following a predetermined schedule; and perform other related duties as assigned. Maintenance: Perform semiskilled and skilled construction, maintenance, repair functions and activities in one or more maintenance trade areas including, but not limited to electrical, plumbing, carpentry, locksmith, painting and welding; and to do other related work as required.
