Custodian Substitute - Per Diem

GREATER NEW BEDFORD REGIONAL VOCATIONAL TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL

TITLE: Custodian Substitute

REPORTS TO: Operations Supervisor

REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 1 year experience in general school facility custodial maintenance.

WORK YEAR: Per Diem - 1st and 2nd shift

Performance Responsibilities:

1. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and assist others when needed. Provide appropriate trash disposal in assigned areas of the school.
2. Provide support for equipment set up on building functions as assigned.
3. Working knowledge of cleaning spills and potential bio-hazards.
4. Provide support for ice and snow removal as requested by Facility Manager to insure safety of students and faculty.
5. Maintain inventory of necessary cleaning materials and equipment.
6. Understand MSDS for all chemicals and substances utilized.
7. Perform other facility related tasks as requested by the facility Director or Operations Supervisor.
