Cashier/Dining Room Attendant

The Cashier/Dining Room attendant is responsible for maintaining customer relations within the Dining Center and accurately records data for reporting.

• Coordinates reception of outside groups/guests with the Assistant to the Director.
• Provides assistance with daily cash-ups/receipts.
• Operates POS System/DCT 3 readers.
• Records cash, credit, debit, and board plan transactions.
• Provides supervision for student employees.
• Maintains and provides input for appropriate supplies and restocking of the Dining Room.
• Makes accommodations for reserved seating.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Stocks dining room, breakfast nook, beverages and condiment bar as necessary.
• Fosters a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere and keeps an orderly guest area.
• Fields special requests regarding Dietary accommodations and conveys those to culinary staff.

Education:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required.

Experience:
Experience in cash handling and electronic sales preferred.
